Dr. Ahmed Radwan is an Attending Psychiatrist and Medical Director for the Alpharus Health’s Bloomington and Peoria programs in Illinois, where he oversees clinical operations and delivers evidence-based treatment for alcohol and substance use disorders. Board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, he specializes in addiction psychiatry, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), withdrawal management, and the care of individuals with co-occurring psychiatric disorders across residential and outpatient settings.

Dr. Radwan completed his psychiatry residency at Southern Illinois University, serving as Chief Resident, and was recognized as the 2023 Resident of the Year by the Illinois Psychiatric Society for excellence in clinical care, leadership, and education. He has advanced training in addiction systems of care, interdisciplinary team leadership, and ASAM-aligned treatment models.

In addition to his clinical leadership role, Dr. Radwan serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and the Global Health Department at the University of Illinois Chicago, contributing to education and mentorship in addiction and community psychiatry.
