Since 1970, Gateway Foundation, now Alpharus Health, has partnered with correctional systems to provide substance use disorder treatment, reentry support, and continued care after release. Today, we are one of the nation’s largest nonprofit providers of corrections-based treatment services, serving individuals and communities across eight states.
Our goal is to help people in the justice system build a path toward recovery and successful community reentry while providing correctional partners with evidence-based, cost-effective treatment solutions that improve outcomes. Through programs delivered within correctional settings, we help individuals address substance use disorder, trauma, and other challenges that can stand in the way of long-term recovery and a successful return to their communities.
Recovery does not end at release. We provide continued support through outpatient treatment, residential services, day reporting centers, and reentry programs that help individuals navigate the transition back into community life with stability, support, and hope.
