David Hicks, MS

David Hicks started with Alpharus Health as the Executive Director of our Lake Villa Campus in May of 2025, where he is responsible for the successful delivery and execution of our mission at that campus.

With a Master’s Degree in Psychology, he joins us with over 25 years of clinical experience in both mental health and substance abuse. For the last 15 years he has served as Executive Director in a variety of settings including community outreach, residential, outpatient, and corrections. He has experience working with multiple populations throughout his career including youth and adolescents, and adults.

David takes great pride in working for an organization whose mission manifests into treating all individuals suffering from addiction and mental health challenges with respect, dignity, and compassion.

For over 25 years he has been dedicated and passionate about positively impacting the lives of others. He is humbled by the opportunity to serve as a leader for Alpharus Health, helping to enrich the lives of our patients.
