Maria Bruni, PhD

Maria Bruni, PhD, is the Chief Strategy Officer at Alpharus Health, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit addiction treatment providers. With more than 20 years of leadership in behavioral health policy, program development, and systems transformation, she is responsible for driving Alpharus Health’s strategic planning and growth to expand access to quality substance use and mental health services. Dr. Bruni has held leadership roles in national and regional behavioral health organizations and is committed to improving access to evidence-based care. She holds degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Chicago.
