October is National Substance Use Prevention Month, and in recognition of this, Mercedes Kent, Program Director of Central Illinois Outpatient at Gateway Foundation, emphasized the importance of acknowledging and supporting those in recovery, as well as their family and friends. Gateway Foundation offers specialized treatment and multiple levels of care for individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
