According to the American Gaming Association, an estimated 68 million Americans will gamble during March Madness. We spoke with Mercedes Kent, Program Director of Central Illinois Outpatient at Gateway Foundation, who explained the troubles and addiction of sports betting during March Madness. Gateway Foundation provides individual and group counseling for compulsive gambling as well as other mental health or substance use disorders.
